I’m Cameron, the owner and the sitter behind Grounded Paws. I started it because leaving your pets should never feel like a gamble. I believe animals do best in their own home, on their own routine, with one person who knows them. So that’s the whole service: I come to them.

Every client starts with a free meet-and-greet, where I learn your pets’ personalities, routines and quirks before you pack a bag. While you’re away, you get daily photo updates, and you come home to happy pets and a house just as you left it. I studied biomedical science at Texas A&M, and I bring that same attention to the details: the medication schedule, the picky eater, the dog who needs a slow hello. Furthermore, my experience with animals did not start yesterday. Growing up on a farm in South Texas, I am no stranger to the sniff or lick of every type of animal. It also is what grew my love for animals, the same love I bring to your pets.

I’m based in Dallas and travel across Dallas–Fort Worth, including areas many sitters won’t drive to. Whether it’s one check-in visit or two weeks of overnights, you get steady, attentive care and clear written policies, so there are no surprises.
